In a blend of hillbilly horror and horrible misunderstandings, Tucker and Dale vs Evil is a very enjoyable comedy.

Altered Carbon
As great a show as this goes on to become, it has a slow start outlining the elements that make up the world. Despite being interested since before its release, it took me four episodes to really get into it so if you can manage that, everything will be fine.
Black Summer
As a show of episodes within each episode, it will suddenly fade to black enough to develop trust issues. Beyond that however, where it succeeds is in its more realistic and personal interpretation of survival after an outbreak.
Sense8
I didn’t know what to expect going into this series but be it story, experience, understanding, action, and so much more, it all emanates from this in such a way that it became my favorite series to air on Netflix.
The Raid: Redemption
The Raid: Redemption is a movie about discovery and whimsy, as you bear witness to the myriad of orchestrated fight scenes and countless ways that someone can die in the same building for two hours.

The Devil’s Doorway
A surprisingly well paced story that felt like a small Cloverfield with nuns. Its not for everyone though. If you’re not too into found footage point of view, documentary style movies, you still won’t find much to like here.

If you like action and martial arts but have also grown tired of zombies being used in media so as to be acceptable to the public, well, they don’t do that in this movie.
Shaun of the Dead
Shaun of the Dead is a classic horror comedy that delivers in every regard. If you have any interest in seeing it again or haven’t yet, don’t hesistate, you won’t be disappointed.

In Darkness has two parts: the first half of the movie where you think you understand the situation but are actually in darkness, and the second half that makes you glad you decided to watch it in the first place.
