Upgrade is a nice take on a gritty future that doesn’t try to hide behind a utopia of mechanical harmony.

Altered Carbon
As great a show as this goes on to become, it has a slow start outlining the elements that make up the world. Despite being interested since before its release, it took me four episodes to really get into it so if you can manage that, everything will be fine.
