If you see this randomly appear on Netflix and you’re fine reading subtitles, check this out. This movie is amazing. I thought it was just some cop movie from the description but its not and I don’t want to ruin it.

Siren is a weird story but it gets weird fast; there’s no slow setup here. It probably won’t be the best movie you see all year, but its actually pretty enjoyable if you have any interest in checking it out.

What they did with what was probably all shot in one location, its depth… and twists, its a great movie.

Tag
Half the time you might not know what’s going on but the way scenes are presented it won’t even matter. Tag is full of ideas no one would think to put in a movie.

Revenger
This stars a man who did not come to act, but one who came to fight. It’s about 10% other people talking, 3% poison and maybe 2% arrows, but the other 85% is kicking someone in the head, breaking bones, or swinging swords.
The House Next Door
This is actually a pretty good, more recent movie for what its about. The only issue is the length because its basically three endings worth of story that can start to drag.
American Mary
American Mary is A. an amazing movie, B. probably going to freak you out if you’re squeamish to any degree, and C. be hilarious if you have a dark sense of humor.
Master Z: Ip Man Legacy
It gets really flashy from the get go to pull you in but doesn’t carry it well through the film. Its still a good movie, but it doesn’t feel like it should carry “Ip Man Legacy” with barely any Wing Chun on display.

Ip Man
The first Donnie Yen entry as Ip Man has all of the hallmarks of a great film. The story, action, emotion, and even musical score will draw you in if you have any interest in wing chun or the martial arts genre in general.
