Tales From The Hood 2 sets expectations high with an over the top tale that will leave you laughing and learning as you wonder what they could consider too far or off limits at this point. The problem is the other stories can’t hit the same highs and the rest of the movie falls flat as a result.

Rampant is a tough movie to really place here. Its not that its necessarily bad, but while the tale could have been told in thirty minutes less, the real issue is that Rampant and Kingdom are retellings of the same story, and Kingdom does it better in a different format. Rampant starts out with some great moments but never develops further and if you’ve seen Kingdom first, this will feel lacking.

It’s interesting to see just how well the home has been bugged with cameras but at the end of the day, it really is just about the surveillance of 13 cameras. You’d think that’d be good being the title, but its also not entertaining.

This one was just boring. If I try to go into detail about anything as to why I thought it was boring, I would be spoiling the entire movie because nothing really happens in the first place.
A few minutes in and it felt like a mistake, but after about 16 minutes, I had some hope. Problem is that hope dies as fast as you’d hope some of the characters would because its a very underwhelming movie.

Despite being mentioned on lists everywhere, most of the film was a dull retelling through flashbacks with brief moments of interest that failed to make the rest worth watching.
